Algeria Web Awards is an annual competition dedicated to recognizing the best web projects in Algeria. Launched in 2012 by Mr. Faical AZOUAZOU, a professor at ESI, and the Scientific Club of ESI (CSE), the event aims to enhance the quality of Algerian web content. Following the success of the first edition, which gathered over 450 participants, AWA expanded in 2013 with new categories. In 2014, the competition introduced mobile platforms, allowing mobile apps to compete alongside web projects.

Casbah Hack is a 48-hour hackathon organized by CSE and CasbahTech. It gathered idea generators, engineers, marketers, and designers to develop innovative solutions. Throughout the competition, coaches and professional speakers provided guidance to participants. The top three teams received intensive coaching from entrepreneurship experts. The winning project was funded and supported by CasbahTech's startup accelerator, giving it the resources and mentorship needed to thrive in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Cloud Weekend is an online event organized by CSE, featuring a series of workshops and conferences dedicated to cloud technology. It provides participants with the opportunity to explore cloud computing concepts, best practices, and industry trends through sessions led by experienced speakers and trainers. CSE Around Algeria is a nationwide project expanding the CSE community through a one-day event with diverse activities across regions. The DataHack, organized by CSE in partnership with the LMCS laboratory of ESI, is Algeria's first hackathon dedicated to Data Science. Knowledge Seekers

Leapfrog is Africa's largest hackathon, focused on emerging technologies like blockchain. Organized by CSE and the Wilaya of Algiers as part of the Algiers Smart City Global Investors and Technology Summit 2018, it brought together over 200 participants. A prestigious international jury, alongside global experts and influential figures in tech and investment, guided the competition. Leapfrog provided a platform for groundbreaking ideas, fostering innovation and collaboration in the tech ecosystem.

Local Hack Day is an international hackathon hosted by 'Major League Hacking' and takes place simultaneously in multiple countries. CSE was the first in Algeria to adopt this concept in partnership with MLH. Over the years, it has gained global recognition, ranking among the top in participation and project productivity. Smart Mobility Challenge is an event organized by CSE under Microsoft's sponsorship, focused on mobile app development. It brings together around 200 participants who create innovative mobile applications. At the end of the competition, winners are announced in different categories. This event aims to improve mobile development, enhance information technologies, and enrich Algerian web content. Over 40 applications have been created through this event.

The Startup Competition, organized by CSE as part of the Smart City Global Summit, gathered 12 startups to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in Algeria.
